The word can just sound intimidating, can't it. I mean, generally speaking we like what is comfortable.

Well, after 30+ years of drying, rolling & teasing my hair, using lots of hairspray & maybe even getting a perm or two 😉, today I'm making a change. I'm learning how to care for and style my natural curls.

This is a completely new world for me and I have a lot to learn but I'm so excited about the process!

Will I mess up a few times? Yes.

Will I have some bad hair days? Yes.

Will getting ready each day take me longer as I learn unfamiliar steps and techniques? Yes.

Will I improve with time and learned skill? Yes.

Will I need a guide to help me? Yes.

Will it be worth it? YES!

We can be intimidated to make a change in our lives for many reasons. What is holding you back today?

Take that first step. It might not be easy, but it will be worth it!
