What Rejuvenates You?
If you aren't sure, read on...
I find it difficult to stop and take time for me. But this past week reinforced the importance of rejuvenation in my life.
The boys and I joined my parents, brother, sister and their families for a week at the lake. What a wonderful week!
While the location was wonderful, it wasn't about the place. It was about the people.
We laughed, ate good food, had fun on the lake and in the pool, played games and laughed some more.
I didn't realize just how much I needed it until about day 3. I was sitting on the back porch of the lake house that evening with my brother and sister when our parents joined us. We talked and laughed until well into the morning.
When we left at the end of the week my heart was full and I was re-energized.
Do you know what rejuvenates you? If not, think back over the last year. What experiences filled your heart and gave you energy? Start a list in your planner or on your phone.
Now for the harder question... do you have time set aside for those things?
If not, pick 1 thing from your list and set aside time on your calendar. It doesn't have to be big or expensive but it does need to happen.
Will you commit to prioritizing time for 1 re-energizing activity this month? You'll be so glad you did!
Y'all have a great week!
